We are a film production house with a great passion for film. Film is a very powerful art form combining all the senses. It has the power to challenge, inform and inspire. It is this that drives us to create films.

Upon this basis the word ‘ruwac’ was born and in turn Ruwac Productions. The word ‘ruwac’ is based on an ancient language that means spirit. The exact meaning can depend on the context, but for us its meaning is the spirit of creativity, difference and courage. 

We love to create and make films with a difference and these films have been shown across commercial platforms, cinemas and film festivals around the world.
